Yasmine D Merveus, LCSW-QS, CIMHP
Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Qualified Supervisor
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marriage and Family Counselor, offering both in-person and virtual telehealth services to clients across Florida. As a dedicated Black female therapist, I specialize in supporting all women, particularly Black women and individuals of color of any gender, through their journeys toward healing and empowerment. I understand the stigma surrounding mental health and the overwhelming nature of navigating life's struggles alone. Whether you're dealing with societal pressures, past traumas, or the persistent grip of anxiety and depression, please know that you don’t have to carry this burden by yourself.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Integrative Mental Health, EMDR, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, among other techniques. My goal is to help you understand and navigate anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and relational concerns. Each technique I use is tailored to meet your individual needs.
Additionally, as a Qualified Supervisor, I am passionate about guiding Florida Registered Clinical Social Interns and Marriage and Family Therapy interns in their professional growth, helping them enhance their competence to better assist their clients.
My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, compassion, and a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges my clients face. My mission is to empower you to embrace your inner strength, cultivate self-love, and rediscover your sense of purpose and joy. You deserve a life filled with fulfillment, happiness, and meaning. Let’s embark on this journey together and unlock your potential to thrive.
